Welcome at
Specop Australian Lowlines

Specop Australian Lowlines
At Specop, a small farm based in the Netherlands, we are proud to introduce the first herd of Australian Lowline cattle in the country. Although just introduced on Dutch soil, the cattle are the continuation of the Toad Hall herd from Elizabeth Cooper, Ireland who sold us her whole herd. Lowlines are a modern Australian breed of small, polled beef cattle, developed from the selective breeding of Aberdeen Angus. With our small pastures at Specop, the Lowline is an ideal fit for us. These cattle consume about one-third of the feed that a standard beef cow would require. This means that where you would typically stock six regular Angus cows, you can run 10 Lowlines. Though originally bred from native Aberdeen Angus type of cattle, the Australian Lowlines have evolved into a distinct and valuable breed in their own right.
We focus on breeding pedigree Australian Lowlines, meant for the hobby farmer and commercial man.
